Dr. AidenEducation: Seoul National University College of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Kang was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to the United States in 2006 to seek change and a better opportunity to serve. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Veterinary Medicine, of Seoul, Korea in 2000. He majored in veterinary internal medicine and dermatology in graduate school, thus earning his master’s degree. He worked as an internal medicine/dermatology specialist and as a general practitioner in big and small practices in order to obtain a wider range of experience. Dr. Kang also gained valuable critical care and emergency experience after transferring to the biggest referral practice in all of Korea. He began working at a private practice then continued his work at a 24 hour emergency practice for more than 2 years before he began to work at Rancho Sequoia Veterinary Hospital. He owns two cats, Tori and Zorro. They are rescues. He’s dying to get dogs too in the near future.
CrystalCertified Veterinary Technician
Crystal is a proud advocate of the ASPCA and strong supporter of animal rights. Crystal volunteered at a small dog rescue for 3 years where she received recognition for her hard work and determination to give dogs a second chance in life. She hopes to become a vet, too.
SabrinaJunior Veterinary Technician
Sabrina's dream was to be a veterinary technician since she was 6 years old. She loves taking care of people pets. She also plans to go to school to be a registered veterinary technician in the future.
Ina volunteered at the Los Angeles county animal shelter in the past for about 4 years. She has always had a passion for caring for animals, from fostering to having pets of her own. She is currently attending college to accomplish her major as a vet tech.
Carlos grew up in Mexico and visiting his grandparent's farm which nurtured his love for animals. He is currently attending Moorpark College and is planning to transfer to California State University, Northridge to pursue a business administration degree. He also has a seven year old boxer and can speak four languages (English, Spanish, French, and Mayan).
Jaylin is a life-long animal lover. She started helping animals by volunteering at the Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats. She is currently going to school to earn her Sociology degree and she plans to take some veterinary programs after she graduates. She has two dogs of her own Bentley, a Labrador/German Shepard mix, and Mimi, a super cute gray Tabby.
Dawn has worked in the veterinary field for 4 years as a receptionist and technician. She is currently enrolled in an online RVT program and studies when she can between working and raising her 5-year-old son. She loves working with animals and the rewarding feeling she receives when she can help them. She is a Simi Valley native and currently has one cat.
Meet Friskie, our adorable, sassy, and sometimes cuddly hospital cat. She likes sun bathing, napping, and telling us when she wants to be pet!
Sirloin loves to hang out with his dad and the staff at Rancho Sequoia. His favorite treat is Churu yogurt and his favorite hobby is reorganizing desks!
