Meet the friendly staff at Rancho Sequoia Veterinary Hospital!
Dr. Kang was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to the United States in 2006 to seek change and a better opportunity to serve. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Veterinary Medicine, of Seoul, Korea in 2000. He majored in veterinary internal medicine and dermatology in graduate school, thus earning his master’s degree. He worked as an internal medicine/dermatology specialist and as a general practitioner in big and small practices in order to obtain a wider range of experience. Dr. Kang also gained valuable critical care and emergency experience after transferring to the biggest referral practice in all of Korea. He began working at a private practice then continued his work at a 24 hour emergency practice for more than 2 years before he began to work at Rancho Sequoia Veterinary Hospital. He is the proud parent of an exotic short haired kitty named Sirloin who you may see around the office.

We are saddened to announce that our lovely, grouchy old office cat Friskie has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. In her prime Friskie was a spry kitty with an attitude to match. Friskie loved her catnip and was always very firm with her expected dinner time, daylight savings time or not. Friskie loved cuddles, climbing on (and drooling on) her favorite people. She loved to pass the day exploring and meeting new lizards and birds. RIP Friskie. We all miss you so much!
